From demand forecast to supply plan
A demand forecast tells you what patients will need; a supply plan decides how to meet it. TrialSupply connects the two directly. Site-level demand aggregates up through your supply chain network to depot-level demand, and planning books lay out demand, supply, and projected inventory position month by month for each product at each location.
Because the supply plan reads from the same numbers as the demand forecast, a revised enrollment assumption flows through to depot demand and inventory projections without anyone rebuilding a spreadsheet.
Buffer stock, deliberately
Clinical supply plans hold buffer stock because the cost of a stockout — a missed dose, a protocol deviation, a site that stops screening — outweighs the cost of overage. TrialSupply applies buffer stock policies on top of forecast demand in the supply calculation, so planners can see forecast demand, buffer, and resulting requirements separately and adjust buffer assumptions as trial uncertainty changes over the study's life.
Depot allocation that follows the patients
Multi-region trials live or die on having drug in the right region. TrialSupply models your network — sites, depots, and the supply routes between them, with lead times — and builds depot-level plans from the demand of the sites each depot actually serves. When enrollment shifts between regions, the plan shifts with it.
Monitor months of supply
Planning books compute beginning and ending inventory and months of supply per month from planned supply and forecast demand, with actual inventory entered as it lands. Planners see where coverage is thin (or where expiry-risk overage is building) at a glance, in time to act within the monthly cycle.
